Residencies and Collaborations
A Garden is an Event
September & October 2024 - Portland, OR
Proud collaborator with Rory Sparks on a RACC sponsored gathering, “A Garden is an Event” - This series honored the garden as a hybrid artwork- a reimagining of a gathering as a chance to unfold as if flowering, develop as if ripening, and share as if fruiting. This expanded sense of an event was grounded in conviviality, interspecies communication, art practices, landscapes and experimental forms of publication. Our specific meal carried the themes of wards, winds, whirligigs, weeds, seeds, lawn ornaments and the color yellow.
